does anyone know where i can get brass plating done,not chrome on brass ,but brass on steel, for a mongoose gold stem ,as i have been told they used this method,then they lacquered any info much appreciated :daumenhoch:

not sure on that but gold plating doesnt cost much more than chrome may be worth considering...

i think its copper and not brass thats used prior to plating :-\ :-\

doug taylor in weston super mare  does all sorts of plating mainly for classic cars and bikes really good quality too chromed some bars for me but it was £45 look on the interweb thingy for his name

when they did my bars the nickel plated them first then chrome
