79 Ripper
« on: October 11, 2011, 04:54 PM »
Just got this back from Dan and slapped on some decals from Del and thought as I have no plans to build it i'd just put up some pics as is.
Pre-serial loopy ripper from 79 i believe, with correct cycle pro (pre landing gear) forks with custom black/chrome decals  :smitten:  :daumenhoch:

Sorry about the crappy pics the camera is sh*t

Tis a beauty!   stupid question time now..........what makes this a 70's one if it doesn't have a serial number?  how can you tell?

They are exactly the same frame Rob, the serial numbers started in 80 Pk**** only Rippers made in 79 including the Round top tube have no serial number, 78 was the JU-6 (non gusset Ripper) floval and round top with no serial number along with the BD 3 & 4 and the GH prototype.
