the jury is out on if those Dave tyres can take the punishment though...

I ran the Kenda street tyres for ages on my DP then Vertigo... no problems... cheap off ebay

its finding them though Peter. Primo V-Monsters are nice but real hard to find too.

Those kendas will only take 40psi max ...  ???

here you go:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kenda-K55-Street-BMX-Tire-20x1-75-Black-Tan-Steel-/160658557172?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2567ff08f4

 ;)

Checkout this guys bad feedback, I'm surprised Ebay still let him trade. It must be offset with the sheer quantity of positives

Haven't had any problems using the xposure Dave's, running them at 50-60 PSI on tuffs !!! not a lot of clearance on the back wheel though on the DP but they work OK  :daumenhoch:

Just wrote a lengthy reply and lost it, so here's the short version:

1 - I hope Pete's right and not just imagining things as V-monsters are the fooking daddy and I love them
2 - the issue with Jim's tyres was a manufacturing fault and they've replaced the faulty batch, so you can thrash away on them.

I use the Chas and Dave combo as the Chas is a monster and grips really well on the front wheel edge for dropping in - here they are on my ramp machine, but after free-falling down the jump-box the wrong way at the Boardroom on Saturday night I've had to put another link in my chain and move the wheel back to avoid rubbing any more paint off the rear stays as they were running too close with 65psi in them - oh well, I now have even more missing paint on my Badasslander to go with the scratches from crashing and dropping it....... :idiot2:

Show bike - my arse  :LolLolLolLol:
