would you be embarrassed or proud?

So, it turns out one of my second cousins (ie my cousins kids) is a scooter rider...... but it seems like he's quite good.

But as a skateboarder and sometime BMX'er I still cringe at the thought....
Which side of the fence do you come down on:

a) Embarrassed?
b) Proud?

I'd be proud.  :daumenhoch:

Go to the skatepark with him and look cool by association (in the other kids eyes, but not on RAD) and when he eventually takes his skills on to a bike you can take the credit for influencing him.

Do you know of any for sale? I`d quite like a pet fat kid.I could keep it in a cage and feed it crisps...Sometimes I`d let make it run upstairs & watch it wheeze :daumenhoch:

Proud, I have 2 scootering sons and am glad they are riding them and hopefully will outgrow the phase and go back to their bikes and take the tricks with them.
I know there is alot of hate towards scooters, Like there has been towards skateboards and inlines in the past. I think the main problem is that the kids that ride them have never been taught about skateparks and are just dropped at the door and left. Skatepark = Babysitter.
