T1 skatepark

15 years ago I was riding at the Shrewsbury skatepark.

It had a scary vert ramp with what felt like 2 foot of vert on it.
The bowl was good though . . . when it wasn't fooked!  Happy days.

Used to ride at a "midi" ramp in Leek in the town park too, back in 1996 - 1997.  Real nice wooden ramp.

Then Storm opened in Derby . . .

BMX isn't a fad for me.

Fookin' ell. Who fookin' cares how long people have been riding or had a hiatus riding? All i care about is that it's more likely that I'll see people the same age as me at a park/trails and not look like a peado/ be equally creeky jointed and want to talk about more stuff than just fingering and tight jeans

I've not been to any of you fella's meets (I've only met Chris and Danny from here) - so I'm not ass kissing, I just can't see why the elitism bollox has to crop up - that's what puts me off riding certain spots/ going into certain bmx retailers and always has.

Back on the subject of T1 - yeah bit of a plumb move on the name, but let Terrible One worry about association for fooks sake.

By 2004 I had no one to ride with, and barely rode at all.
Finding RADBMX in 2005 gave me a whole new crowd of people to ride with, and people my age too!

I don't care if it's your first time, or what your bike is.

This place and the people here are not to be knocked.  Sites like this are great for BMX, especially for people my age (late 30's!)

Just collect old bikes that put a smile on ya faces.  Go riding with your mates, talk cod shite and occasionally do a trick that takes you out of your comfort zone.
