Revenge Industries tyres
« on: August 28, 2011, 10:25 PM »
Normally use KHE foldable MAC 2 park and street, but currently using a pair of Demolition momentum tan walls (steel bead) - want to revert to KHE's but the Revenge Industries foldables look decent too.

Has anyone any experience of the RI tyres?

Thanks in advance,

Brian  :daumenhoch:

Been running them for ages, not the folding ones though. Light and roll forever  :daumenhoch:

Oh no mate, no probs at all. They're well good.

It's just that I'm slowly building up a rider for my younger daughter to use and I was going to put the Demolitions on it. They're tan walls and have had very little use.

(My elder daughter has my old KHE's on her bike...)

Was just curious about other makes and noticed the RI tyres.

as said above they are grippy, they roll and roll and roll, but as Glen said, they aren't the hardest wearing.

oh and mine were slippery as fook right out of the box, anyone that says tyres don't need scuffing in is wrong....if you intend to use them on ply or smooth concrete. lol

Great tires. The same compound as FAF, but the FAF tyres have a bit more tread on them so they will last a bit longer.

Worth getting something RI, if only because McKinney rules!

Okay, got a Pinner for the front (cheers Steve  :daumenhoch: ) and an Animal ASM-R for the back - didn't even think of that one, but saw a bargain on ebay which was too good to miss.

I'll let you guys know how I get on, after I get them scrubbed in :)
