Thats more than i paid for mine.....................................by $11 , it might only be a bit of 4130 tubing but with the internal brace it makes it a lot stronger hence more desirable and there is a severe lack of these posts available which in turn skyrockets the price. This is the only post that Woody Itson used BITD and even Hutch were happy to let him use the SST instead of a Hutch Post, must say something.

i have a tioga layback seatpost with the internal brace, looks pretty much the same as the sst post. anybody got an sst sticker to hide the tioga stamping.

A fool and their money..........  It's a he'll of a premium for a sticker, you can't see that gusset when it's fitted. I'm sure there's a small group of septics pushing these prices up to cash in. Some of this stuff is so easily faked and people are so easily influenced and fooled.

I had one of those BITD bought it secondhand at a Poole Panthers meeting then swopped it for a Reynolds 531 layback

Me too, on my TA I had a set of Star Bars & one of these both with GT decals because we went to Alpine Action to buy GT Pro Bars & GT Layback & all they had was Star Bars & SST Command Posts in stock  so disappointed
