Twas having a tidy round in the bike workshop on sunday and came across this i made a while back with a little help from Ed209, thanks again dude  :daumenhoch:

Take 1 tatty dyno fork stander and polish to a decent though not anal finish
Add a dash of 20mm square stainless steel square tube
Throw on a stainless steel 90mm ring
Garnish with with a few finishing caps and:

that looks double sweet!never seen that before.the fact that it flips up is even better.If you had marketed these in '81 wouldve made a mint!

That was my first thought when i came up with the idea but the way i see it is the combined strength of the seat tube plus the seat post should take all but the heaviest of riders as long as you dont run a super high seat post. Also Pacific used to do a seat post with a standing loop at the back so the strength issue has been tested before.  :daumenhoch:

Either way it was good fun making and as others has said it doubles up as a cracking beer holder  ;)
