The 'beard' tag comes from my footballing days.... I was the only one on the team with anything that remotely resembled facial hair... And it kinda stuck...

You wouldn't believe the amount of BMX stuff I get sent addressed to Dave Beard... It's not my name and even my claims of a 'beard' are weak at best...
