Just built this as a bit of a 'rider' project. A mix of nos & originali parts. It's not a minter by any stretch of the imagination but it does go like sh%t off a shovel !

here is my entry. my 1989 pk ripper hybrid rider. it has been to 4 ride outs now. i wanted to make a bike up using all my favorite bits from the 80's,90's,00's, and present day. thats why it has been labelled as the hybrid build. this may not be to everyones taste but i love it!
its a 1989 pk ripper. yes you have read that right 1989!!!!!
custom powder coating by superbike dan. sparkles like nothing else in the sunshine!
original nos se racing pk ripper decal set. in silver and grey.
modified bottom bracket/cranks with sealed cartridge bearings. the gt cranks have had the anodise removed and have been polished. chainring is a polished (on both sides) profile imperial 36 tooth
1" to 1"1/8th conversion to except 1"1/8th sinz carbon race forks. and yes i have drilled them to except a u brake mount. headset is a mixture of tioga beartrap 2 1" & savage 1"1/8th
both the u brake mounts were machined to fit the profile of the frame and the forks.
dk stem has been polished and a gyro plate was made up on a cnc machine. the gyro is an odyssey gtx that has had all its seals and bearings removed and the main part polished. bottom gyro plate was modified to fit the alloy ripper frame.
dx pedals have been restored with new caps.
kink park pegs have been polished.
u brakes are polished odyssey evo 11
seat post is a haro fusion cromoly. re decalled
seat is an odyssey senior 2
the wheels are peregrine super pro. with a nos shimano mx30 16 tooth freewheel.
chain tensioners are polished bullsye modified to match the shape of the dropout curve. with shorter adjusting bolts.
tyres are haro multisurface 3 white walls.
levers are dia compe dirty harry.
bars are hoffman ramproom lovehandles. with polished lugs for the removable bar ends.
grips are odi longnecks with custom made cnc bar ends.
chain is stolen half link. that was a complete pig to fit.
stainless or titanium bolts have been fitted through out
