I thought some of the selections were very odd when I read this yesterday.

I'd have had Skyway Recreation in at No.2 and the Patterson Logo and Profile Logo should have featured alot higher.

And how he only places Haro at No.7 is a bit odd.. and he NEVER mentions the chevrons??? I know Haro had several Logo's but the chevrons are iconic..

And if he thinks Volume Bikes logo is worthy of a top 50 place then so is 'dialled bikes'  :Great_Britain:

Sorry, but I think the S&M logo is crap and not worthy of first place  :-\

What about the old Suntour logo? Araya? ACS? VDC Woody Itson? Robinson?

Fook me, all the above are much more visually appealing design propositions than S&M  :daumenhoch:

Some pretty odd choices in the list.  :uglystupid2:

Some are iconic and others are great designs. Very few are both.

Always love a good logo debate.

Surprised these lot aren't in there, from a logo and brand point of view they are certainly the most interesting, although S&M, logo and brandwise, are still the don

Nick Schonberger talks a lot of bollox from what I just read. TBH i got fed up of reading the shite and fooked it off. BMA got number 9 because he always wanted one of the hats?  :wtf:

9. Bicycle Motocross Action

I really want one of these hats. That's a good enough reason to put this 35-odd-year-old logo on the list since it still holds up. Bicycle Motocross Action Magazine simply was the definition of BMX during its run.

Haro at 7? wtf, the plates, frame decals, chevron logos and trousers designs are the most iconic that's why the USA team used Mr H for their olympic kit designs for that very reason. Good to see S&M there though  ;) My top 5 would be:

1) Haro
2) GT
3) ODI Mushroom
4) Skyway
5) Kuwahara

Hutch would be in the top 10 but not number 2 for me. The debate continues...  :D

I can think of many more that should be there and many that are that should not.  I think I will compile my own top 50  :buck2:

s&m :4_17_5:

cant argue with that!!

I think this might be the winner for most iconic BMX logo. At least, I can't think of a logo I've seen more people wear as a t-shirt or buy as a sticker. Its one thing to have a logo you promote the hell out of and pay your riders to wear, its another when pros who don't even ride for your company are wearing your t-shirts on their off time and stoked to stick your stickers. I can't think of a brand/logo or style that better represents BMX as a whole. A little bit rough on the edges, but still a badge of powerful imagery of do-it-yourself, make-it-happen-your-way style that's stood the test of time.

the words are by taj not a journo so its from a rider perspective :daumenhoch:
