Frame ID please
« on: September 04, 2011, 11:22 AM »
Got a tange frame that has a stick on it saying tange aero dynamics double butted cr-mo , this is the only original sticker left . tange stamped on BB. Its still got the arx forks that came with it. Down tubes are oval going to round were its meets BB ,from the bottom BB to the back drop- outs is the same again. Seat tube is oval to round with the back stays being the only completely rounded tube, oh and head tube. welding is so neat too.  Never seen one on here or anywhere else either. Give me some help please . Will post  some pics when i can access my photo bucket account.

Can anyone remember how the original bike it came as? Or stickers it came with? Any help much appreciated .

serial no' T3H0234 . The thing is i cannot see one the same ,very similar .

You're bang on the money :daumenhoch:
Tange made this frame for a few companies. Best known as Tioga Rhino Charge.
Also Shogun & Schauff had it in their range as well. Very nice 8)

Unique feature of the frame is the tapered top and down tubes, as you mentioned.
Starts with an oval at the head-tube then tapers down to small round at the seat-tube & BB ;)

Dam can remember my boss come sponsor having that poster in the bike shop were i worked.
They brought this one as it was  cheaper than the TA plus it seemed to ride better.
Won the southern champs on it 2009  Andover and for a short time raced against  in ns in novices.
OH WOW im so pleased my thread has been answered. Thank guys  :)

Mine will soon be off to OZ i think.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

It's not on my wanted to build list as such so i'll offload it after my holiday. A guy in OZ has PM'd me a few times about it and is very serious about purchasing it.
