If it's any help,i used to race with 1.5s when i was 16/17 years old,probably about 12 stone.They held up under me!

bitd i used to race a guy
  he had a hutch and ran 20 1/3/8 wheels that was in 16+
  and he was about 12 stone
 he used to swear by them

I have 1.5 rims on my TNT, no issues with them.  Odyssey T1000 are 1.5 too...
