welcome to the b b b b b brakedancer crew buddy :) and looking forward too seeing this built up, glad to see it being resto'd  :daumenhoch: Think rider/tester ace Andy Irwin was not too impressed with them bitd  :(

Hope you don't mind me posting a couple of pics, just love these framesets, despite them being filled with concrete ;D

Did eventually do the 2 rear brake set up using Rad member Ronsters gizmo but didn't 'test ride' it to see how it felt. I'm thinking it may have just been a gimmick bitd as don't think it would have as much stopping power than a single set up, physics of it?

Good stuff anyway :daumenhoch:

Alright Gra, cool to see you back on Rad mate :daumenhoch:

Say I think you used to own this frame, you bought it at MK around 06/07 (was black) and I believe you sold it to Gregg who did it up/show and shine then sold the frameset on. Glad I got it before you endoed it to destruction ;D  ;)

Its a possibility!  I did buy one at MK07.  I paid 20 quid for the frame and forks.

It was black, and had red forks.
I needed a forklift to pick it up.  I don't understand how it was so heavy!

this is my first potts mod so i hope its correct ?
the only problem i see is where the cable comes down the head tube and out the bottom....
might get some tyre rub !!!
what the best way to pull the cable in to get clearence ?

Fat cable tie.

Oh and make sure the cable is the correct side of the brake bolt!

using a gyro is a good idea as you wont need that silly dual cable stop thingy on the lever, and you can use 2 regular rear brake cables to run to each individual rear brake.

also make sure you squirt a load of WD40 down the cable so it doesn't start to stick on the bend.

I'd also bung a washer under that stem bolt so you don't end up scratching the fook out of the gold anno  :daumenhoch:

a little bit more progress.......

found some gold p-clips in the shed, works a treat with the potts conversion
smooth with no snagging or sticking......... good clearence for the front wheel
and no nasty cable tie......

underside brake cable fit up..........

and this is where i am at the minute....
