87 Street beat MKIII
« on: September 28, 2011, 07:36 PM »
Right this is a rider so it's nowhere near era correct, but here is my MK frame n forks purchase built up. (excuse crappy phone pictures)

Street Beat MKIII frame
Unstamped LG's
Beartrap II headset
Fusion stem
DK Freestyle bars
Prolite stealth hollowbite cranks
Skyway turbo disc (wasn't going to use this but looks okay for now, will have a PPP power disc and chainring later on)
GT DX pedals
Fishbone sealed hubs
Sun rims
KHE Lammello tyes
Nippon fron brake
AD990 rear brake

might get some new school graphite tuffs for that 87 Hoffman look later  :daumenhoch:

black forks and black bars would be nice.

Keep off the tuffs. Follow your own science.

No gyro?

I've got a padded DK seat that would be friendlier on yo ass than that GT one

The best looking StreetBeat I've seen  :4_17_5: mainly as it looks so rideable  :smitten:

Cheers mate, it will be at the boardroom next weekend  :daumenhoch:

Tried a gyro but I just couldn't get it working and as I never spin the bars I just run w straight cable.

Nice one Rob, even though I'm playing with having a chrome front end on my black master I think black EZ bars on yours would look great!  :daumenhoch:

That looks tops Pickle!!
I quiet like the bars atm but black will no doubt fit better, keep the disc too imo as its right for it.
Iv always wanted the teal beat but not keen on the brake tabs.

Perfect rider if not a bit good  :4_17_5:
