brought this in from the states a while ago and its sat in the loft ever since, was gonna sell it but changed my mind so a survivor/rider build is now starting (needed somthing to do while i wait for the ACE to come back from the chromers)
it was corroded and green when i started, so a bit of hard work and this is how it looks part way through, all done by hand
how it was
after a bit of hard work on a couple of the tubes
still a long way to go, but its getting there

What have you been using ?? as i am waiting on a frameset to turn up which needs some work

i've been using a polish called "Mothers" it comes frome the states and is mainly used on classic cars and custom cars

peek seems good to finish off with but its not abrasive enough to get the crap off, solvo auto sol is too abrasive, mothers is in between

Found a couple of sites that sell Mothers
But what is the specific one that people use on frames
There seems to be afew & i wouldn't wanna buy the wrong one

the Mothers polish i have is really ment for ali but works fine on chrome, you can get one that is just for chrome though
as far as i know it is not available in the UK, i got mine from the USA

Don't forget your frame is nickel so ally polish is probably better for it Andy.
Looks good mate, I love a survivor early Goose build ;-)
