what about a set of Paul arms Greg you can adjust the block seat up and down and in and out on those, can go left or right with the cable , think they use sealed bearings in the pivot instead of bushes too, not cheap though but
did have a set of oddy A's a bit back, sounds daft but they almost work to well went back to the shimano deores
