« on: August 11, 2011, 11:55 AM »
OK,
So was wandering around MK11 and saw a very very pretty little Torker Freestlyer Frame and Fork in one of the Event Tents sat on the grass, Meant to go back to it and have a chat about it and if for sale but Sunday came and went and i never got back to it  :-[
It was a lovely looking thing, Black with like a chicken wire pattern sprayed on the the lower tube in purple/pink...anyone know who had this so i can speak with them bout it?
Cheers Al

Was the frame mainly pink with a "fade to black" type front end?

Something makes me think they are a Torker 2 360, or something like that.

The chicken wire comment rings a bell about something I might've seen in old Freestylin' mags...

Torker 2's aren't even proper Torkers (they were produced after the original company went bust) so I wouldn't want to throw too much $$$ at one.  That said, They are nice looking frame sets but they're quite weighty.  I'm sure you pick up a frame/forks that needs restored for under £100 shipped (from abroad most likely as they're not so common over here) and you could do your own for a good deal less than £350.  Just don't get any crazy ideas about chroming it.   :crazy2: ;D
