175 v 180

Always ran 175 cranks.  Do 180s feel much different to ride? or do they feel much the same?

Depends what your doing, deffinately noticable on a track. I put 180's on a park bike and felt no difference, trails I imagine would be the same. You would have to try it riding a familiar spot and see  :daumenhoch:

Mostly ride trails and sk8 parks - yer, i'll just put em on and test it out - just got hold of some 2nd hand ones - primo hollowbites, so a bit lighter than what i run. cheers for reply.

I use 180's on my Haro master and have a 45 t chainwheel to get the same feeling as my DP with 175's on and a 44 t chainwheel. 
Overall not a lot of difference though :daumenhoch:

Considering it's only 5mm - I definitely noticed a differnce when I switched to 180s for Racing.

180s seems to fit my spin/legs better.

i run 185s on some of my bikes and 180s on others and they don't feel much different, so i would assume it would be the same for 175/180  :daumenhoch:

i thought with 180's you would'nt reach the pedals when sat on the seat ;D ;D

To ride/race  180's without ending up  pedalling "choppy"( swaying side to side ) when pedalling fast , you'd have to be 5'10 " upwards

As Diggs said it don't matter when park riding as you hardly pedal  ;)

For park use shorter cranks are more popular, some kids are running 170's, makes spinning tricks easier... apparently...  :-\

im a little over 5'10" - I dont pedal much really - one or two cranks out the rollin, mmm, so most likely wont make much difference.  I do the odd nofooter, will my feet find it back ok :P i hate slippin a pedal, haha, hurts like mad.

they make 1cm difference but if your a bit taller than Spen youll not like em like christian say youll be riding well choppy!!
