customs charges...rough guide??

Hi, im thinking of ordering from the US and the seller (shop) wont help with the customs for which i can understand about so its not a problem, but does anyone have an idea of the charges, or do they make them up as they go along.. :knuppel2:..
its gonna be about £150 if i decide to buy..any help is appreciated..

If you go to the customs site mate i'm sure it will tell you on there plus royal mail put on some bullsh1t handling fee too :knuppel2: ask seller nicely if they will mark as gift and the new way is to put item return in the description as they can't charge you if it is something being sent back on a warranty issue  :daumenhoch:

If it's a regular purchase of normal new stuff  (nowt super rare or collectable), then you should pay 10% import duty, then vat on top of that. They will use the shops invoice figures in their calculations.
