Chaps and ladies. Some of you will be aware that Jay and I decided to get our Haro knowledge togther into one place on the web and to try and create a dedicated Haro website telling the story of the company and the man who started it. Its called www.harobmxcollector.com and its been a project that began a little over a year ago when i gave Matt Swivel a deposit and asked him to build our vision into a functional website. The site has a lot of information and a lot of pictures to try to cater for those who like the detail and those who just want to fly through and look back, but ultimately its a resource for our community to use as a reference tool and hopefully a way of inspiring us all to indulge more into the history of our hobby and ultimately giving it longevity...

We have had help along the way. Most notably from Bob Haro and a few other sources including Jim Ford, Chris Allen at Shiner, virtually all of the 80's riders and many other sources who are given a mention on the contact page. The rider section still has some blanks as thats the next largest piece of work although we have contact with everybody on the page and work in progress. The writers section will be regular and we will be looking for guest writers to chip in with restoration stories or general Haro/bmx interest, so if you would like to jump in and write something, please drop me a line... or ill just come looking for you all as i know who likes to showcase there literary skills 

In amongst my ramblings in the history section you will find the story of the Company broken into years. This will be a start and will evolve further as more information comes to light an w get further down the years of the compnies development. We have the Haro Regsitry (not fully loaded wth images yet, but will be in a week or so) and the galleries which have thouands of pictures. In history you can also download PDF's of the specs of bikes, frames, rider factory bikes etc... Theres a product timeline that Jay painstakingly researched via old BMX Mags and adverts and its correct (believe me!)

Also, drop into the shop as we need all the support we can get and grab a key ring or tee shirt. The shirts are based on a 1979 design that Bob created, and that Haro Bikes have licensed us to use. All in all its a work in progress and w will be addressing the years past 85 in the net phase and ill be looking for some help on that!
