You're crazy man - racing now is a way higher standard than it used to be, so much more technical and interesting to do. Still good to watch Geth beat the Yanks every now and then though.

Just an opinion Jon, it's more technical sure,but if I was a kid I would just find it hard to pick bmx hero's like BITD.
Not knocking the modern racing scene just went and watched the euro championships the other week and that was the verdict I came to.
Some cool crashes though  8)

If you're talking about less big characters in the Sport then I think that you're right, in top level racing at least. A lot of these guys train and race in ways very similar to each other. At club/regional level there's just as many different nutters as ever  :)

Wasn't knockin modern racing just wouldn't think kids would hero worship them like the riders from the old school scene.
