just bought a pair ,took the tyres off and theres no rim tape is this normal on proclass? obviously the rim strips cover the nipples but id have thought the stip would sit better with rubber rim tapes over the top :-\

i bought a set too a few months ago that were in a right state, they still had the rim strips but no rim tape. i don't think it needs them but it wouldn't do any harm either.

Bought rim tape in from the states.. Not the real thing and a lot thicker!! Pumped my tyres up and it punctured my back wheel. So I put ptfe tape around it and sorted. :daumenhoch:
