Author Topic: 83 CHROME SKYWAY TA New pics with Tuffs added (Read 13794 times)

Ok guys ive been struggling with this one for a bit.

I had planned this bike several different ways in my head , looked at every TA pic i could find on the net , asked advice from others but still wasnt sure what way i wanted to do it .

Finally i decided i would build it using all black parts as i wanted to use my graphite Tuffs on it .

So just for a try yesterday i stuck on some blue spokey wheels to see how theyd look as id previously tried them on my white TA but didnt like the look BUT i loved them on the chrome :lol: .

So today when i finished work i totally changed my build plans and went all blue and i really love it . :lol: :lol: . Its days like today that i really love about building bmx , Work done , tunes up loud and parts all laid out then just change direction because it feels right lol. :lol:

It looks very nice and blingy but for me I cannot ever see why you would put spokes on a Skyway. Skyway frame... Skyway wheels, it just seems to go so well together for me.

I know exactly what your saying and that was my main stumbling block as I really wanted to use my graphite tuffs on it but when I put the spokes on I loved it so changed direction.

Don't think for one moment though that I do not like the bike, it really is stunning, just needs a set of graphite Tuffs and black Comp III tyres and it would be perfect. I say that only because it is sat in the Race section and we didn't race with blue tyres.
