.. heavy offing down the skatepark this morning

totaly cocked up a move in the halfpipe, front wheel went then dug in, threw me over the bars face first on the tarmac then the goose clocked me in the back of the head.

I was shaking like a shitting dog for a while but looking back this evening, what a bloody laugh!!

Fooking loving that i got back into bmx

oh and the goose is fine

hope you werent too badly injured. I remember my first off after i got back, wearing shorts on the race track i very cleverly removed all the skin from my calf and half of my shin, It hurt like hell and i limped for a couple of months, but the war wounds were cool down the pub!!

my first proper off and I fooked my collarbone ... that threw me for a bit but you just gotta get up on it again.. start slow again and build your confidence.

When I got back into iriding five years ago I had an off where my leg was totally bruised from ankle to knee ,,fully purple

Every off I had gained another item of protection

needless to say within a year ,, I was wearing , Lid , gloves ,shinnies , knees, and elbowpads .

and do everytime I've gone to a park or track since,,, make sure you get good branded stuff too ,, it's not cheap but will last years and do the job it's supposed too
