Request Hoffman 900 Prodigy in black pictures
« on: July 04, 2011, 07:16 PM »
Hi people been awhile just bought a Hoffman I think its a Circa 2002-3 Prodigy in black. It was a present to my 10 year old son as he grew out of the old one. Its not in bad condition, but had a few deep scratches and seat is a little grazed not sure what needs to be done except maybe new set of tyres. I'll post a picture of it tonight, but what do you think it could do with as the stickers have come off and for love and money not sure what OEM ones to get copied for it?

 :)

Nice ride, really like those earlier 2000 Hoffmans ;) Condor's, EP's etc. Not my era, 80's kid me. But these bikes are going to become collectable in 5-10 years I reckon ???

Just like us 40 somethings chasing Haro's, GT's etc, there will be another bunch of collector's looking for um when they reach 40 :D Just a shame they don't have skyways ;D

Thanks mate My lad just about touches the floor with his toes might have gone too big? I noticed the seat post depth is shallow on these Hoffs! He loves it, but reckon next summer he will be tall enough for it.
80's kid  :coolsmiley: If life was easy today as it was back then  :2funny:
I've got a Raleigh Night Burner MK2 to restore still and shocked at the collectable prices these days just NOS pads are about £100 not even sure if they are NOS  ::)
One thing about the Hoffs the weight I'm guessing dirt or hard landings are better on heavier bikes!
Funny these days the newer reproductions are far more expensive than what we had paid for. I would love a PK ripper tail in black and gold mmmmmmmm

Good point John! Just can't find anyone who has one for reference though...?
I'm sure the front pegs are missing, and not sure what pegs its got on the rears?
I might have ago at sanding out the scratches and tin spray it gloss black, but its going to get more damage as our kid rides it more ;D
