Closing in on finishing 5 builds
« on: June 01, 2011, 11:27 PM »
Like the proverbial bus's, I suddenly seem to have gone from one complete bike to 5 well on the way with another coming in.  The bug has well and truley bitten!  Heres a preview, hopefully they will be getting finished in the coming weeks/months

Ammaco Freestyle Pro (Gonna be my rider as bitd)
GT 85 World Tour (Someone has to pick up Costa's torch...)
DP Firebird Freestyler
Skyway TA (in a freestyle stylee)
Vincent Airzone

and a Rebel freestyler at the powdercoaters being blinged up in a custom black flip paintjob

Good job I've fook else to do!

Hope you like!

Cheers mate.  Gonna ride a couple of em, but not quite brave enough for the TA or GT after the work I've put in!  That may change in time mind  ;D

Maybe stick one in next months BOTM for a laugh.  They ain't up to the standard of some of the beauties on here, but all been done for a sensible budget so far  :daumenhoch:

Thanks fella's, nowt like a bit of encouragement to spur you on to finish!  Still got a fair few parts I want to swap over (blue tyres on the TA etc) and a fair bit to get hold of yet (need a red anno MX seat clamp, red DC rear cable, tyres etc etc etc) along with a bit of resto needed on certain parts but nearly there!

Got a Pro Class stem on the Ammaco oldschoolrb, needs a proper polish of the cap to make it look sweet.  Anyone here do a polishing service that doesn't involve KY Jelly?  ;D

I'm not sure it will be ready in time for MK to be honest.  I'd love to say it will but then I have a deadline and it feels like work... :LolLolLolLol:

I'll keep you informed on the progress Katie, esp when I get round to dying the Tuffs I have on the way to the correct shade of blue!   :idiot2:

Sadly the Vincent had to go to make room for the 'other' one, and as you haven't been paying attention (apart from Spen), I'm not telling  ;D ;D

Yeah Griff, I started with the 'only one' philosophy.....Now I can't get in the spare bedroom
