Top quality - there must be some RADsters on there. I noticed Shaun Calvert getting a trophy and he's still racing. 8)

Thanks for the great memory of that place though... I still remember it like it was yesterday  :4_17_5:

God, that must have been awful, I could never do that to my son, I would have been excited for him to be in the final, wild horses wouldn't have kept me away.  Shame we didn't know you, you could have happily come with us to every race.  Mike Pardon came with us a few times.

...thanks for the offer man - maybe in another life eh  :LolLolLolLol:

Funnily enough, Mike Pardon was racing that day... him and Jon Lee tearing it up over the "whoops". Mike also used to ride the Quarter Pipes at Ardwick Sports Hall in Manchester when I was there around 84/85. He Rode with another sponsored rider, Tim Stamp (Hotdog on here). I met up with Tim when he sold me some tyres just before the "Radchester" event last year... as it turned out I remembered him from Ardwick and we're now great friends after all those years.... small world indeed  :daumenhoch:

I've just added one more small video of John Lee and my brother practicing.  It isn't long but thought I might as well include it.  :)

Great videos- a real trip down memory lane. Watched them all twice to see if I could spot myself or any of the Darwen lads, but to no avail.

Interesting in the second one to see the 'scrutineering' of the bikes before racing, which my dad used to help out with at Chorley.
