Is this a Robinson?
« on: July 14, 2011, 08:31 PM »
I saw this frame on a website, he wants 50 quid for it, he says it's a robinson mini frame from the late 70's early 80's. He says the chrome is in decent shape. I sent him a message asking for the serial number. Anyway, here's a pic:

Any info I would be grateful from.
Thanks.

It could be a Robinson Mini they started making mini's without a gusset around 1980 and they had those long dropouts, however for me there is something wrong where the top tube meets the upper looptail, Robinsons had a small gap between the top tube and the looptail tube, whereas that one tube meets the other.  Also the rear dropouts although similar, the mini Robinsons had a slightly different shape.

For me I would say no, but what the hell do I know.  :LolLolLolLol:
