Mine and Sawzalls home made spray booth.
« on: June 26, 2011, 06:07 PM »
So after roughly 6 weeks we've had some fine weather today to finally get down to priming/high building a few frames in time before MK. The only problem we had was some quite high winds smashing round Phil's garden so we had to construct some sort of booth to keep the wind off.
We both bought a large groundsheet each a while back so these were placed over Debbies washing line and summer house.  ???

Damn it was hot under the groundsheets and with the 2pack primer it was also very slightly pungent  :buck2: well very pungent to be precise. I liked it at first but it got too much and i was feeling well rough a bit later.

Anyhow, the framesets are now awaiting a sanding down before final spray a bit later. They have to be left to dry properly as it's a 2 pack primer.

All i can say is a massive thanks to Phil for his spray time and apologise for leaving slightly early for various reasons.

Enjoy a DIY job  :LolLolLolLol:

In an ideal world those tarpaulins weren't required but the wind was so strong it was chucking shit all over the place. The last thing wanted was grit stuck to the frames, we had to adapt as this was pretty much the last weekend we had for prime time. Thankfully it all went well as the covers did what they were meant to do.  :)

It was the best den we ever built. :angel:

bet the neighbours were worried...

If you REALLY wanna get high do it in a shed  :buck2:

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
