info needed on claude butler (cbr) panic bmx

Hi all i have a claude butler panic bmx which i need info on ive anyone has got any or knows where i can get it would be great the problem i have is the fame and forks has some rust looking markings in it which look like there original to the frame anyone got any idea what it is dont think its rust as its been like it since i got it any help would be great thanks    scott

Factory raw frame dude the rainbow marks around the welds are from the heat while welding

It'll have a clear lacquer coating that cracks and peels letting moisture in and it goes rusty, (the squiggly lines)

Nowt you can do unless you keep it dry and clean...

Thanks for the info Betty so it is rust then dam i thought it wasnt so whats it worth then and does anyone know the year it was made

  Prob made in the last 5/6 years and worth very little.OK for a runabout though...
