Hello from Bangkok, Thailand
« on: June 24, 2011, 09:59 AM »
Hi everyone,

Although I registered to be a member since early 2007 but this is my first post here.

My name is Thanit, 4x years old, living in Bangkok Thailand which quite farway from UK.

Normally I just came here to view all nice bikes but not quite often.

Many thanks to my new friend "sweetbeats" who invited me to back here.

In Thailand we have our own old school bmx website for nearly four years and already had three yearly gathering together.

Below links are 2nd gathering in late 2009 and 3rd gathering in late 2010.

sawaddee kharp Thanit and welcome to RAD

Never been to Thailand but I know you have a thriving OS BMX scene
I have a friend there you probably know? (Tbase) who has built some stunning bikes - he also gave me the chainring I needed to finish my Haro  :daumenhoch:

Keep posting the pics - I tried logging into the Thai site but without English characters it's confusing for us Brits to navigate

cheers

Sawadee khap, Mate,

I go to Thailand every year with the missus for a couple of weeks backpacking; we always spend a few days in Bangkok, always in Chinatown, before heading off to Thailand South, or Vietnam. We will be there in September this year; maybe look you up?

Welcome to RAD, mate!  :daumenhoch:

Sawaddee krab Griff,

Our os bmx here is only small group of people compare with RAD or MUSUEM. We try use it to keep freindship, help each other rather than do business which is not our main purpose.

Surely I know Tbase very wll, he is younger than me and grow in time of freestyle BMX.

For our os bmx thailand website, at this moment I suggest you just access to view our bikes through two links below which are for
"Completed Bikes" and "Favourite Bikes Corner" forum.

That wasn't a racial stereotype, it was an observation on Jase Sweatbeats' sexual preference!   :idiot2:

"Pheasant" one of our local BMX brand made in Thailand in 80'

At that time "Pheasant" had their factory team and this bike owned by an ex-rider of this team.
