take your time with it Ed, have an already built wheel to hand as a guide..very satisfying when done..and its int' other ya div bleeding Southerners
there is a book called the art of wheel building available.ive had this book for a few years now.i always use it for reference for when i build a wheel.it shows you in a way that you cant get stuck and has been very useful.
"1) First thing you need to do is locate the key spoke hole"help.
the first hole to the left of the plug hole.
the first hole to the left of the valve hole.
Good luck Ed, Make sure the spokes come out of the rim holes the right way, Seen a few rims with angled holes with the spokes wrong.
question time yo are the rims designed for a 3 cross build? the nipples just look loads 'happier' in the holes on 3 cross but don't look like they sit right on 4 cross builds? is that just 'how it is' or am I doing it wrong? will try and do a pick... gotta get the kids ready tho
