Is there a beer tent/bar area there or is it bring your own?

Even if someone just sells trays of ale out of the boot of the car or back of the van or even getting those £8 slabs from Spasda and knocking them out of a gazebo for an Ayrton and giving each to quid made back to this site, i'd pay that, save me getting it and ferrying it down there on the train.

You need a licence to sell any alcoholic drinks. Better to just bring loads and get w@nkered  :daumenhoch:

:daumenhoch: have thought about it in the past with getting a mobile bar in, but with the over heads they end up charging about £3a pint so its just not worth it. Tesco is just down the road for supplies

Dan, just get down there and I'll run you to Tesco when I land as I will need a photograph printing out once we arrive....... it's a long story :LolLolLolLol:

Surely someone will be able to fit you in the motor from the NW? FFS, there's enough of the fookas up there that come to MK bud......

I'm ordering a plasterers trough in a bit to make an acid bath for my frame
I reckon once it's rinsed clean and filled with ice should make a useful bottle storage facility  ;)

Spen i'm happy to do a bit of Inter City jibbing, I like to see the looks on peoples faces on trains and at the stations when they see an Old School bike, it's a pure look of 'oh God, I used to have one of them', i'm only 2 hours away on the train anyway, no hardship and nothing a four pack of cider can't help with.

Griff, lovin' that idea of a beer trough, good call, the best one I ever saw was @: The V Fest in '99 when 4 lads walked through our campsite dresses as coffin bearers with a proper coffin, full of ale.

have had a slight rethink on the trough
decided today I'm going to build up the bike survivor-style and see if the frame can take a bit of riding before I go and spend £30 on something just to try and clean it up (been having a pick over it again tonight & am a bit suspicious that the weld near the seat tube might have a tiny crack coming)
If it's ok I can always strip it back down and send it off to SBD for a quality refurb

I'll just bring a massive bucket of ice instead  :daumenhoch:
and plenty of meat for the grill

Last time I went, we filled the boot of the ML with vodka and soft drinks/red bulls and hit it, heavy till we ran out.

Supermarket just down the road, so no shortage. If your training it up, caffe a lift down there and fill yer boots.

You have to get absolutely rotten. Tis the law.

not being a seasoned camper I don't have one of those handy folding chairs, so have just ordered my own special 'MK' chair

£3.50 collected from wilko's  :daumenhoch:
