Suntour stem with angled head??

Can anyone give me any info on this Suntour stem? I have just split a bike up to sell parts from and this stem was used about 6 years ago.

Never took any notice before but now i've stripped the bike i've noticed it has an angled head? Does this mean its a different suntour stem to a power stem or a different version of it? Its stamped Cromoly Japan on the chrome shaft.

Maybe Suntour saw the design flaws in the MK1 Burner geometry and made a stem to compensate 

Can't say i've ever looked at a burner for more than a few seconds before so couldn't be sure
