Hi peeps can this be done ? i suspect it can't due to moving parts which wont split or do they  :-\  i purchased one a while back with flaked chrome for resto flattend it which was easy enough then painted which was a pig of a job as you could imagine  but turned out ok but not 100% happy so im thinking strip again and rechrome or anno any ideas ,thanks  :daumenhoch:

Polishing it seems your best bet IMO.  If all of the chrome is gone, it would take 10 minutes to sort with a polishing wheel.
