 :LolLolLolLol: Ok chaps never been an expert on bmx race and never will be for sure always been freestyle for me and to be honest thats not great either  :LolLolLolLol: so heres my thicko question ? flip flop hubs what on earth are they ? now ive recently purchased a set of ukais with suzui hubs and noticed both sides of rear hub are threaded to take two sprockets  possibly different sizes  :-\  Flip flop hub possibly or not  ::) tbh im dreading the replies  :LolLolLolLol:

One size (biggest) take a sprocket of 16t and upwards, they other (smallest) takes a sprocket of 15t and lower, I think   :daumenhoch:

pheww cheers for that delray  as i thought  :daumenhoch:  what was the combo then bitd  and why where they used  seems strange then that they might change there mind in the middle of whatever they where doing  :-\

Flipflop hubs have been around since the dawn of BMXing, widely available in the 70's and 80's and mainly used on mini's with smaller front rings down to about 39t I think they were also pretty popular on the downhill tracks like Corona where you needed a big gear to keep up  :daumenhoch:
