Nevermind the Trickstar, here's my bolox.....
« on: June 03, 2011, 01:42 PM »
So I received my first ever BMX just now, after it amazingly came up on the Bay.  Catalogue POS by Iron Horse, i give you...The Alien!

All original from around 83/84, including the pad foam which crumbles to dust should you look at it in a funny way.  Mine bitd had Acorn magnums which I've got on the way, but other than that its identical.  It even has Tony Tiger stickers  ;D  Built with PHOENIX 101 Cycle tube!  Have some of that!!!

Stoked!   :LolLolLolLol:

 ;D ;D

I'm a big fan of Pieces of Shite, my fave bike is a Piranha which is exactly the same as my first bike. :smitten:

Cheers guys, never thought it would give me as much pleasure as it did getting this back.  Brought a lot of memories back of building ramps in the street and having high jump competitions with a pile of bricks and a stick!  Its in really good nick for its age and considering the quality of materials used.  Half a mind to restore but the other half says leave more or less as is - whaddya reckon?  :daumenhoch:

My mate had one of those, he snapped one of the mags and also replaced them with acorn mag wheels.

I like it, the colour scheme is cool and i would leave it as it is, looks in good nick  :daumenhoch:
