Hi, I've a 1980's Raleigh racer bike with a tasty Sugino GT crank.
I wouldn't mind fitting it to one of my 80's freestyle bikes. Is this possible and what extra bits would I need to buy.

Yes, all you need is a USA to taper BB with a new spindle - available as a kit on the bay for next to nowt from Hopkins cycles (£7.99 plus postage I think?) if you want a cheap solution, or you can spend a lot on a sealed solution, like £50 and upwards.

Got a couple on builds myself and they do the job but not top quality - perfect for sunday riders but i wouldn't race every day on one
