Fished out this Jaguar aero seat but I'm not sure of the correct year, Its stamped underneath "7378" but I'm not sure if this is date stamping or product number stamp. Personally I thought these came out later than 80. any ideas?

Hmmm , that's a shiney topped one Ash

On my Nora ,mines got the same embossed pattern as they did on the Shotgun II but marked as Jaguar on the side I'd expect mine to be around '83

obviously yours is earlier , I'd say

I didn't think Aero shaped seats really appeared until Kashimax Aero, Elina Turbo arrived then most started shaping their seats so the very earliest is late 1982 I would imagine.
Then the 'copycat' Viscount Aero's and whatnot were on Mongooses from early 83, so I'd say this was 83-6ish at an edumacated guess.

I had a Viscount aero on my 1st BMX Ammaco sport and the were produced late 1981
