question for the painters out there.

what sort of colour would i get if i mixed chrome paint and a mettalic red. would it be a red chrome? a bit like candy red. or if i mixed a clear laquer with mettalic red. i'm thinking of trying it with a couple of rattlecans to see what it's like.

I've never done it myself but to get those kinds of finishes you paint a silver base coat, then use a tinted clear coat or tinted lacquer over the top. Most decent paint factors can mix what you need and put it in a spray can for you.Hope that's useful dood
