Right or wrong forks ? Is there a way round this
« on: May 23, 2011, 07:59 PM »
Right I have a 95 haro sport I have a 1" headset which the cups fit the frame but the rest doesn't fit the steer tube so I got a 1"1/8 headset Wich fits the steer tube but the cups are to big for the frame I have been told I may have 97 forks ? Does anyone no if that is true and is there any way around this issue I have because it's quite a big floor in this build if I can't attatch the bloody forks !! Someone plZ help

A 95 Sport should take a 1 1/8 headset and so should the forks, have you got any pics?  It's always easier to diagnose with something to see  :daumenhoch:.

I have spoken to a couple of people that specialise in haros and apparently unto 95 the headsets are 1" and 96 97 were bigger 1"1/8 Wich all makes sence so looks like I've got a mismatch on years so it's off to the engineers for me tomorrow
