It was like banger-racing on bikes  :D shame the third place guy sneaked past to win whilst we were tussling

Did Diggler do cruiser and O/S

No but he did land on my shoulder in moto 1 jumping the first double :10_2_12:

Hell of a move from Digglesworth in an A final with some very good 40-44 riders in as well. :)

Diggler leading out one of the motos (not seen any of his A-final yet):

Diggler in flight (in the dark grey kit in the middle):

Cruiser was stacked, after getting out the gate joint 1st, I finished last in this moto  :idiot2:

My B final; I was banging bars with the dude in blue all through the 1st berm, 2nd straight and 3rd berm until he exited the track...

Love it when the OS comes to town - but I wish more of you had come along!

My special mention is the dark deviant himself.  Diggler impressed with his first straight skills.  Props.

Dex, IMHO I think more people would turn up for Crewe if that first jump was tweaked to make it more rideable, especially in gates 1-3 . It just seems to throw you in the air. Some kids and adults  :-[  were just ramping off it , hitting the upside and bouncing to the bottom of it.

I hear what you are saying but it is more than ridable.  Even in 1-3 with concentration.

I did ask Clark about it a while ago and he wanted to keep a differential for drainage but it would be nicer to make it the same across.

I wouldn't want to change it though.  Gates 4 - 8 are mint.  It's just Crewe.  It just needs a strong manwell.

There are dreams of making the first straight more euro.  Lowering and lengthening the first dubs, big quad into the turn.  But I don't want to spend (or even try to fund) those changes.

At the end of the day, it's Crewe.

 :)

And that'll probably keep the OS numbers down

Crewe is a great, modern track. I like it. It makes me think.

Unlike some other tracks in our region that make me think... why do you want to damage people!!

crewe is a fookin awesome track, its tracks like this that bmx needs to raise the bar, the first doubles didnt phase me too much the fookin vert on the backend of 2nd step up scares the shit out of me but i wouldnt have it changed, crewes frustrating coz the jumps desperately want to be jumped but the landings are too scary for me to attempt on one visit, but thats my problem not the tracks,, unfortunatally crewe suffers from being fookin miles away otherwise i'd race it every series, scary, technical, fast smooth, awesome,

now bring it further ooop norf n we're all laughin :daumenhoch:

I thought Crewe was a challenging track, having said that,a few nights spent riding it,getting it sussed, it could be riden smoooothly :daumenhoch:
the first doubles as dex said require balls to manual, i nearly made it across a couple of times in practice, just needs more commitment :)
Its an awesome track, just wish i could get to ride it more :(

Crewe is a good track, I didn't say it wasn't. I was replying to Dex's comment wishing more OS had come along and I gave my reasons why I don't think they do, along with a lot of other riders that didn't turn up in other classes.

I agree it is rideable with concentration and it's OK to say practice more etc. etc. when you are a bit older but when you are a bit younger it's different, even one of the Brooksys who are probably the most skilled younger riders ended up ramping off it no footed.... what a puff ! ;)
