Bought a Tange headset from Ed and have gone to fit it today into the Skywat and, well, let the pictures do the talking.

Obviously i can't tighten the locknut down any further so what is the solution? Do I need to fit more washers? Do I have an abnormally long threaded tube

or do i have to use something else?

Help/guidance/praying appreciated!!!

Yep, thicker washer or a Headlock

Thought so, will put a wanted ad up for any orphan washers

as the only ones I have now are either black or so nailed that they look like they have been dug up from the bottom of the thames

you have the small version lock nut, there is a deeper version also which would maybe solve your problem

How does it look at the bottom near the bearing race?
