Hi - can only tell me more about this seat (came with my new bike):

Is it supposed to be a one-piece; there is no means to tighten it or remover it from the seat post.

Anyway, its annoying because it is not stuck properly so it can turn left/right. Feckin annoying!!

I will be selling it as I want a black seat. What would be a nice 1985 freestyle seat to go for? This is the bike:

sounds like it is fooked to me mate they are bonded in the factory even if you try to repair it will probably only work loose again,better off investing in a new seat

Is it a shite seat? I assumed it was a good one just because the seller seemed to be a realy purist.. He reads RadBMX so maybe he will jump in and give comment even if it is: "yeah, burn it. I only put it on the bike to sell the mofo.."

you can re rivit them go up in size abit wih the rivit ,4 or 5mm, two underneath, and use some araldite or simmilar to restick it before you finish the rivits, should hold it for a bit ,,

tbh i have to agree with Betty though

Well, I am already planning to sell it as I want a black seat. So, it is a shite seat then.. Hey ho..

Any thoughts on a nice black 85-esque freestyler seat and post?

Generallee used to sell NOS ones on here for £10 posted so a faulty one can't be worth much. Dispose of it or have the burden of someone castrating themself on your conscience forever.

They were all over ebay a year or two ago, for about £17, NOS, so not gonna have much value, I had a straight fibre glass post one on my DP for a bit, as I had one BITD, I don't know why they are considered as crap now, they didn't used to be.

I know that they aren't everyones favourite, but I have never been a hater!!

A nice BMX aero, (ariake or Jaguar) would look sweet, and I always prefer them to a Kashi for a freestyler, look a bit more substantial.
