Thanks everyone for all suggestions and comments, I will put a Blue / Chrome combo for the gearing, Blue Disc and Chrome Chainring or viceversa and now I have been told what a plank i am i will change the tryes to correct ones, as i say the Stem will get changed aswell but no pads are going on this bike, i do like them but these frames to me are probably the one of the nicest looking frames ever built so i wanna see the full naked beauty.

Also a big thanks to Vince (mincer) for the great restoration work (hubs, Rims, Brake & Frameset), Wheel building, bike building and general abuse throughout this build. :daumenhoch:

Nice clean looking build that. Normally I'm a pad freak but I reckon Quads n Rippers look better without them  ;)

Are you going to ride it ? If so I'd stick with the tyres or go for cheng shin skinwall comp3's if you want era correctness without breaking the bank and then ruinining them by riding  :daumenhoch:

What a beauty this bike is :4_17_5: :smitten:

I must agree, think it needs a padset to set it off :daumenhoch:

But also like the shape of the frame, and seems a shame to cover it :-\

Wish i had a Quad to have this dilemma over ::) ??? ;D ;)

Cheers,

Paul.
