I think the posh US stuff is actually an annodised aluminium from memory as DB250 had some when I was round at his the other week - it looks bloody amazing and even though it's a bit steep, will set your build off a treat.

There was some for sale on here a couple of weeks ago, but I can't remember who had it or what colour it was..... :-\
Still limping......

Dan, if you don't want to pay for the US stuff and just want the "look" then this stuff works fine...........

      http://shop.ebay.co.uk/ed1835/m.html?_nkw=19mm+foil+ribbon&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313

You need to put standard rim tape on afterwards though as it's not thick enough to protect your tubes from your spokes but it looks the biz and cheap as chips too :daumenhoch:

Somethin like this will do to go on top of those foil strips........

 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-20-CYCLE-WHEEL-RUBBER-RIM-TAPE-/230612088168?pt=UK_SportGoods_CyclAcces_RL&hash=item35b18d3568

But there's loads of cheap rubber rim tapes/strips on ebay so have a search.

Should be able to change your pro-class tape colour and be safe to ride all-in for less than a fiver  :daumenhoch:
