Frame id help please??
« on: May 04, 2011, 09:28 PM »
I bought this pair of bikes off the bay for £75.00 for the 2.

Although I recognise the black one,.......does anyone know what the chrome one is ???

I know its a cheapo, just wondering what cheapo it is ???.....I was only after it for the mags, but just interested in the rest of it

The serial number is prefixed; DSBM and a couple of chaps have already helped me out (thanks very much :daumenhoch:) finding me this link...http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=2571776

......but I still can't quire definitely exactly identify it :-\

Any ideas :coolsmiley:

Thanks for your time :)

The gusset is very much like a tensor magnum or magnum tenor but quite a few generic brands came with a similar gusset. No time now but will hunt out some pics for you tomorrow

First impressions , I'd have thought the mags were Blue O.G.K 's ,, came standard  on the Falcon Macho's

Redline's had the (same factory O.G.K made )Perrigrinne mags  didn't they ,, but like you say in the more mid to late eighties dayglo/ pastel colours like Turquoise , Pink, lavender etc

Thank´s Hunterdubber,

that´s the missing info for me, because Falcon and the tipical blue OGK´s seems to be an  :Great_Britain:
BMX thing. I never saw or read anything about this brand here in germany (like stella a. in belgium)

By the way: i love the redline mid 80´s colour range, it is so marvelous tasteless  :2funny:

regards
Alfredo

I quite like that - I know it's a lil' budget fella but it just screams old school in that catalogue pic in all it's blue and chrominess  :D

Get it restored  :daumenhoch:

Those tyres will be cheng shins gum wall knobblies, C609's I believe  :daumenhoch:

mongoositis - an expensive disease......
