Holeshot photos @ The Sobell Centre 1985 ?
« on: April 28, 2011, 03:23 PM »
Not sure but I think it was 1985. Ron Wilkerson was there for Haro plus I think Rich Sigur (correct me if I'm wrong) Craig Cambell was on Pro-Lite. Neil Ruffell was going BIG. Apologies for the poor quality shots,no flash so I had to make do with other peoples flash guns!
Craig Cambell

Neil Ruffell

Ronny Boy

Cannot remember this guys name...

yeah well... you were right  :D :D :crazy2:

I found the pic I have in a mag and Sid was deffo on a Quad  :daumenhoch: I think I was getting mixed up with the Slingshot review they did - its no wonder he was on a Quad as they were very highly rated for strength back then

1. British Freestyle Championships Sponsored by Holeshot

3. The Third Annual Holeshot Casual Wear BMX Freestyle Championship - Wilkerson etc
4. Holeshot - with top US Skaters, Hoffman and a half pipe... I couldn't go  :'(

..but what was no.2 ???
When did Pepi win? ( he did win one I'm sure )

The pics in this thread are from the 2nd, pepi tied for first with craig, wilkerson and sigur at this one.
3rd mccoy demo and 4th as you say with halfpipe which craig hopped into in his run.

I must have gone to the 2nd & 3rd one then. I remember Dennis McCoy doing an amazing demo and then jumping off his bike, grabbing the mic and rapping. What a great day!
