Restoring blue tuffs
« on: April 23, 2011, 03:50 PM »
Hi Guys,

I have a pair of blue tuffs that are sounds but have black brake rub on the rim and a few spots that look ingrained/stained.  I know the process for dying, but is it worth bleaching for a while first or is this not a good idea with coloured tuffs?  And what colour/make of dye will I need for blue?

Any help and tips would be appreciated as I've never dyed before, unlike Jeebus of course....Happy Easter!   :daumenhoch:

the brake rub will clean off, the stains might not come out, I wouldnt dye them unless they're faded, bleaching them wont do anything unless they're white already
